Challenge: In underserved rural regions of West Bengal, early cataract diagnosis remained a challenge due to limited healthcare access and expert availability.

Solution: EduMettle developed a custom Deep Learning Model capable of detecting cataracts from simple eye images, allowing frontline health workers to screen patients instantly. Using the WhatsApp API, the photos that are directly received as a WhatsApp message are preprocessed and screened for cataract.

Impact:

Challenge: Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images, though rich in terrain detail, are hard to interpret in black and white. ISRO required a solution to colorize microwave imagery for better geological insight.

Solution: EduMettle engineered a deep learning model that colorizes grayscale SAR imagery by learning from paired optical datasets—preserving topographic accuracy while improving interpretability.
